How to Use Studio
Quick Summary of Steps
If you are like us and prefer to read! Here's a quick summary for creating your first report:
Go to Launcher
Select Studio
You can either load a file or choose from our Atlas
From here you are able to manipulate the map as you please
You can add layer
You can filter
You can adjust interactions
You can modify the base map
Changing the colors in Studio is done through the layers like this: https://docs.kepler.gl/docs/user-guides/l-color-attributes
Once the map is depicting the correct information, you either save the map to your Workspace, or download it
To save: You will click the "Save" button. This will then prompt you to name your map and add a descriptions, if you would like
To download: You will click the "Download" button. This will prompt you to choose your dataset, select CSV, and determine if you would like filtered or unfiltered data
To Publish: You will have to save the map first. Then an up 'carrot' will appear. You will click on this, and you chose 'Publish Report'.
What happens next?
Once you have successfully saved a report, you can find it in your Workspace with the Title and Description you chose. Adding descriptions and descriptive titles will help you stay organized.
Reports are organized by Report Type. You can filter Workspace to quickly find and open the Report whenever you need it.

To view a report
Go to your Workspace
Click on the report you wish to see
What if I need to make changes or edit a report?
You and your colleagues can make edits to all reports.
To edit a report
Go to your Workspace
Click on the "Explore" button
This will bring you to the map where you can make adjustments as needed
Make sure to save after any edits
